Comprehensive Educational Assessments

TOTEM provides a range of comprehensive educational assessments administered by our highly trained professionals. A standardized assessment is given at the beginning of therapy and both standardized and informal measures are used throughout the therapy sessions to continually monitor student progress. The areas being measured include Language Skills (reading, writing, spelling, grammar, fluency, and comprehension), Mathematics Skills (number sense, calculation and reasoning), and Cognitive Processing Skills (attention, processing speed, memory, visual and auditory processing, word attack, and logic/reasoning).
